Emily Santiago always loved children and planned on one day, having her own. However, an unplanned pregnancy leaves her in a position she did not expect.
Emily and her son Justin Demarcus Santiago were left with only each other. When Emily's high school sweetheart bails, Justin is left fatherless. Emily later leaves home after an argument where her mother made comments about her biracial son.
