10 years ago everything changed. 10 years ago something came and took over lives. After we lost The Blood War, a war between humans and vampires. Yes, vampires the creatures that could drain every drop of blood in your body.  They took over and changed everything. Now the land of  Illia is split into three groups. 

Royals
Servants 
Pets

Royals were obviously the vampires, they ruled all of Illia.

Men were given the job as servants. Servants had it pretty good . Well not good but they had food and decent places to live. Servants get to live in the castle due to them helping royals in day to day life. 

The women however were the pets. Pets are the lowest of the three. You basically had all your freedom ripped away from you. From the moment the war ended women were thrown into cages with collars around your neck waiting for the dreadful day to be bought. Once bought you were the vampires personal blood bag. 

I was 8 years old when I was torn away from my family and thrown into a cage. I haven't seen the outside world since. My family was killed right on sight so I have been alone for 10 years in the very same cage. 

Until today, when he walked in.

The Lords were the ones in charge in every city, whether we liked it or not. The vampires often roam through the city, making sure that everyone was in order and no one stepped out of line. If you stepped out of line, you died, end of story. Even if the rich were still under their control, their lives were still better than the poor. The poorest lives held a much worse fate. The men were to be put to work as slaves, whether that meant serving a specific vampire, or just building their castles, they were slaves. The women were to be pets. Pets were the lowest rank you could have. They were forced into cages that were too small to stand in with collars around their necks. They spent their lives in pet shops, just waiting for the dreadful day that they'll be bought. They were treated like animals, trained into what their master wanted, and punished if they misbehaved. Those who were lucky enough to live through that, we're to be slaughtered for their blood at age twenty-five in an act to make sure that our population would stay steady. I was born into this world. Born into this world full of blood-sucking monsters. Except, I was one of the lucky ones. Was. It all ended for me when I was 12, when I was taken away from the last bit of hope and family that I had left. I hated thinking about being exterminated because I made my owner unhappy. I thought to myself that I would try real hard to keep him happy. I remember the covenant of rules that would keep me and my owner happy. I would need to follow five rules. 1. Always obey my owner. 2. Always be available to my owner. 3. Never talk back. 4. Always agree with my owner. 5. I am not human so I cannot do human things. I wondered how pretty human women were. I was so nervous about my departure I nearly refused to leave my room. I could leave if there wasn’t anything wrong with me physically. I remember the den mother telling me not to do anything that would cause a refund or else I would be exterminated upon refund. My new owner had thirty days to return me. If he returned me and no one else was interested I would be exterminated. I would be killed because it would be thought that I was defective and no one would want a defective product.
