The beginning of the novel came to me in a dream, and it expanded from there. It's a little dark and mysterious, but that's the whole point. It's suspenseful, and has an almost constant tension. It is about three boys who have been kidnapped and are trying to escape from the cave where they are held. One final note: these characters have no names. They will never have names, and don't ask me to give them names. Also part of the whole mystery of this novel. The trio had grown up together, lived near each other, known each other, loved each other. But now they faced a challenge they never thought they would: escape. Unknown place, unknown captors, unknown others stuck there with them. Why? Who knows. The three had their whole lives ahead of them, but now, would they spend it there? That was the greatest Unknown.

~First book~On Scotty's fifteenth birthday, he's kidnapped. With his only memory being that morning, Scotty holds onto that small sanity he has left. He's forced to live, if living at all, drugged, starved, raped daily. Forced to lay in his own waste and filth, Scotty's about given up, forgotten what life was. With a small quieted encouragement, Scotty uses sheer will power and hope to bring up enough bravery to attempt to escape. This bravery has left him Alive, yet dead all the same. Even if he were to escape, how mentally could he handle all the abuse? You can't take years of this and not be mentally affected. This isn't a fiction story with a quick happiness. This story is cruel and spoken through the eyes of a boy who has survived and died. Bravery saved me. {rated R for Adult themes, Sexual moments, drugs, and others. Read with caution} BxB
