Dream Land is cloaked in unease. Whispers drift through the cotton-candy skies-people are vanishing without a trace. What begins as scattered disappearances soon escalates into a full-blown crisis, and fear taints the once-idyllic kingdom. King Dedede is baffled, Kirby is suspicious, and no one dares venture too far alone.
But one figure remains eerily calm amidst the chaos-Meta Knight.
His loyalty to Dream Land is unquestioned. His honor is absolute. And yet, behind his mask, his eyes burn with something more. He has always been watchful, protective... but now, his devotion has twisted into possession.
Secretly, Meta Knight believes Dream Land is fragile, tainted by fools who don't deserve its wonders. So he takes it upon himself to purify it, removing those he deems unworthy. He works in the shadows, striking with surgical precision, spiriting people away to a hidden fortress among the stars. There, beneath the moon's cold gaze, he keeps his precious collection-silent, terrified, helpless.
But there is one person he cannot bring himself to touch. You-or whoever the protagonist is. He worships them, covets their existence, and shields them from the horror he himself has wrought. He leaves cryptic warnings, eliminates perceived threats, and ensures they remain untouched by the darkness creeping through Dream Land.
Until they start investigating.
And Meta Knight realizes he can no longer merely watch from afar. If they discover the truth, will he let them go? Or will he convince himself that Dream Land isn't safe for them anymore... and that they should be his, locked away forever?
