The difference between the stage persona, my producer persona, and my real self is a distinction few but those in my circle understand. The demands of the path I've chosen leave me more often than sleep-deprived and over-caffeinated in a hotel somewhere in the world with my closest friends and bandmates. I savor my achievements like a fine whiskey that smoothly burns and soothes after the many challenges we have overcome. As much as I enjoy what I have achieved it only leads to further questions as I and my bandmates move into uncharted territory in the music industry. What happens when I finally encounter the person who sees me and can differentiate between my personas? How can I navigate and manage competing priorities and the various entities that have an interest in my failure or success?
