Another Mate

BOOK TWO of 'My Mate, His Mate, and Me'. Raph and Julian agree to fake a romantic relationship so Raph can avoid a political marriage and Julian can simply be left alone, but when Raph desires something more real and Julian can taste a normal life, he must learn to control his powers or he'll end up breaking the promise Raph made to his first mate and he'll never be able to mate again.

Without a mate, as an Alpha, Raphael is the most eligible bachelor around, but he doesn't want outside influences deciding what he should do with his life. He'd rather be single. Julian just wants to be left alone. Julian still can't control his powers and now that the world knows he exists, this Oracle is desired for all the wrong reasons. The obvious solution (to Raphael) is to fake date. He'll keep dangerous wolves away from Julian and if Raphael's not single, he can't be forced into a political marriage.

But fake dating is harder than it seems, especially when the feelings are getting more and more real. Even if they were to try-really try-Julian couldn't. He can't even touch Raphael. Let alone kiss him or hold his hand or... do much more. Not that Julian wants to anyways. Right? Fake and real blur as the boys spend more and more time together.

Julian had never met anyone not trying to use his weakness against him and gets too comfortable. So comfortable, he forgets himself and accidently sees a vision of Raphael's past. The promise Raphael made to his first mate, Carrie. A promise Julian is forcing Raphael to break. Julian was so obsessed with making himself better, he never thought he might be bad for Raphael.
