Echo was a were wolf, but not just any were wolf, she "belonged" too hunters and was forced too participate in "dog fights" against other weres, she had grown up in the hunters captivity So she never learned what love was, what it meant too be part of a family, she only knew how too kill and how too survive,

Somehow she was the top dog, the one everyone else feared, in human form you would never know what a killing machine she really was,

Beck never thought he'd meet his second chance mate after his first had been killed by rouges, but once he found her he knew he would never let her face danger she was small and harmless or so he thought,
