Protector
A highly trained assassin lies bound hand and foot, wounded and helpless. His abductor: his own brother. Bryce has never stopped searching for his missing brother. Twenty years have passed since the twelve-year-old Zach was snatched off the street, but a big brother's duties don't end that easily. He's about to give up hope when he gets the news: one of his hired investigators has tracked Zach down. Bryce can finally bring him home-whether Zach likes it or not. Zach barely remembers his childhood. Or the days when he used to fear his abductors. Now they're his home. His family. The ones who taught him about the supernatural gift he didn't know he possessed, and showed him how to use it for the greater good. Bryce wants to save his brainwashed brother. Zach wants to go home. But when Zach's employers hunt him down, they don't have the luxury of treating each other as the enemy anymore. Now they both want the same thing: To protect their brother. Protector is part of the Mind Games universe, a series of standalone stories about ordinary humans with superhuman abilities and the people who want to use or destroy them. This novella is 43,000 words long, or about 140 pages.Complete

Fear of the dark. [YiZhan FF - Mystery Thriller]✔️
Fear of the dark. YiZhan FF - Mystery Thriller. Between love and fear. Who can you trust now? Wang Yibo, 23, along with his big brother and his brother's two friends, are on the way to a real adventure vacation that he actually has no desire to go on. Their goal: to find a cave in a supposedly cursed forest, which is said to be overflowing with angry ghosts. However, the four do not go on the adventure alone, but meet up with a few other groups who, just like them, also wants to experience an adventure. And Wang Yibo reported about it in his diary. This story is fictional and nothing written in this book really happened. This is a fan fiction, so it has nothing to do with the real lives of the protagonists in this book. My age recommendation for this story is at least 16 years. Better 18 years and up.Complete

Lan Xichen is worried about blossoming relationship between Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian. He is convinced that their reunion cannot happed due to the restraints of inter-sect politics and that he, as the future sect leader, cannot let both of them suffer knowing that they would not be able to be together. Then, he learns that Lan Wangji had taken matters into his own hands and had all but imprisoned Wei Wuxian in the Jingshi. He has to help at once and convince Wei Wuxian to not hold it against Lan Wangji and the Gusu Lan sect. He had to take care of him and help him recover from his surely unpleasant trauma. The thing is, Lan Xichen has also come to understand why his brother had been so smitten with the boy.
