Abandoned by her family for her abilities, she found refuge at Camp Lehigh were they took in her gifts and used it to their advantage in the war, long before the Invaders were formed. She briefly interacted with its members, once united, before she got captured by the enemy and not only been taken hostage, but used as a weapon against her friends. This lost soul ventures through the decades with the Winter Soldier by her side, eventually, becoming Hydra's main operative, also known as, The Blood Viper.

She, and a few other people, escape one day and are still on the run for 2 years peacefully. Until Director Nick Fury sends the Avengers to come and take her and her friends in.
