He was Indra; he was a part of him. A little one Indratmaaj was when the deity of rains witnessed him cuddled up in Kunti's arms. Oh the desire to himself play with the soul of him, made his lips quiver and his lacrimal water......

"Hiding your emotions, from your father, are you?" Indra's eyes met Arjun's copper-red ones, which hid layers of unexpressed feelings. For Indra, Arjun was the same he had been observing since childhood, and he was still a child for him to care, comfort and love.

"Father's embrace is the safest!"

A two-shot that depicts the bonding and love between Lord Indra and his spiritual son, Arjun.

[This story doesn't go along the lines of the Mahabharata, not even initially. I have just borrowed the main characters and a few ideas from Ved Vyasa ji...] Certain incidents in his life tell Arjuna that he is 'special' indeed. However, as a new friend, an extremely special girl, especially to him, enters his life, things seem to revolve more around her than around him, and Arjuna thinks that maybe this special friend of his is the real gem of the tale. As they grow up together, Arjuna realises that her existence must be kept a secret from almost everyone out there; and also the fact that she happens to be the single most beautiful creature to have ever walked the Earth. However, as their friendship strengthens and matures into more, he discovers that she is probably more special than he initially thought, with regards to a mystery regarding her birth. But the young prince has much more of the world to see... Much more than just knowing that everything that's called magical and divine, is most probably just another unknown to the common man. Does the mystery of her birth involve him too? Can a common friend that they find in an enigmatic youth help them out of this labyrinth that is their lives..? WARNING: Many characters, taken from the Great epic, will be shown in a totally different light in this story. Kindly do not consider any one as a deity or anything such. The more realistic and raw sides of walking-talking humans, who are no Divine beings, and do have their own share of negativities within themselves, are shown in this book.

The museum was buzzing with excitement. Prerna Agarwal, a college student, walked through its grand halls . This trip was supposed to be a fun escape, but something about this place felt like it was calling to her. The highlight of the museum was an ancient portrait that had just been uncovered. It was still being restored, with only the middle part cleaned. Prerna pushed through the crowd to get a closer look. Her heart stopped. The woman in the painting looked exactly like her. History says she was accused of treason and killed by a ruthless prince-Prithviraj Kshatriya ." Prerna couldn't stop staring. How could someone from centuries ago look just like her? Satataharitam - Short Stories On Narayana

88 parts Ongoing

Nārāyana. The Lord of Sustenance. To sustain his universe, he has always done everything one could ever imagine. From incarnating as a complete wild boar, to living away from the love of his life to vanquish evil, Lakshmīkānta has always done everything to establish Dharma every time Adharma threatens to overpower it. Ananta. He's endless. He will remain one of the few constants even as the universe comes to an end. Hari's kathā is just as everlasting as him, evergreen in both emotion and meaning. As perpetual as him are his stories, never coming to an end, never ceasing to enrapture those who attempt to understand these tales brimming with a charm nothing else has. This is an attempt to encapsulate some moments from the stories of Vāsudeva in shorts that may succeed in giving the tiniest glimpse of Vaikunthanātha. This is my attempt at writing about Rāmachandra, whom I love and revere beyond what my words can explain. This is my humble attempt at bringing to life some of the moments from the evergreen stories of Mahāvishnu. ××× [The chapters showcase these undoubtedly divine characters with a touch of humanization, and while I will try my level best not to get too carried away with it, moving too far away from the original plot, some people might not be willing to see their deities humanized. In that case, I'll request you to skip this book. Thank you!] Cover credit: @Mochis4lifeq52627 <333
