"I found you." The singsong voice was right below her, calling her. She clenched her eyes shut, a lone tear slipping down her cheek. He was playing with her. He wanted her to give away her position. She couldn't make a sound.
"Make this easy for yourself and give it up. You know you can't escape this place. If you come now, maybe I'll let you off easy." His voice was so convincing. So smooth, kind even. A kindness that disguised the poison underneath.
"No!" Her eyes flew open and her hands grasped at the branches, struggling to stay above the ground as the cold hand dragged her down. "Please," she sobbed, "please leave me alone."
"Are you afraid?" His eyes glittered with a sadistic pleasure as he pulled her up from the forest floor. She turned her head, refusing to play his game. His breathe tickled her ear as he continued. "You should be. You're going to be my secret weapon."

Contrary to the tales that have circulated the world, Peter Pan is not the boy who rescues children from their parents and brings them to a world where they'll never grow up. He kidnaps those who he brings to Neverland. Namely, his sidekick Tinkerbell.

The shadow took me high into the sky, flying upwards. Suddenly I felt myself go through a portal, it was unexpected, but I kept going. Out of the Enchanted Forest. When we came through, I strained my eyes to see through the mist that remained from the portal. But when it cleared, I saw a beautiful island, green, lush, huge. I filled with unexplainable dread. I knew that my suspicions had just been confirmed, this was Neverland, and I was flying with the shadow of the demon boy, Peter Pan. The shadow slowly descended towards a clearing that laid amidst the large amount of greenery. I followed and soon we touched ground. I found myself surrounded by dozens of teenage boys and found the shadow was gone. Lost Boys. A/N ~ This is my first book and therefore not the best example of my current style, but it was the first book I ever published here so I want to keep it public as a little reminder. "Curse this wretched dress!" I growled as I managed to get it stuck on a branch. I yanked it back and I heard a tearing noise. "You have got to be kidding me" I sighed, a tear taking black at the bottom of my dress. "Looks like someone is having trouble. May I ask, why you're on my island?" I spun around and faced a boy about my age. He had a deep English accent and brilliant green eyes. It was almost mesmerizing staring into his eyes and to hear his voice. "Where did you come from?" I asked. He smirked and let out a humorous chuckle. "I'll be asking the questions darling. Now answer me, why are you on my island?" He snarled, his eyes seemed to darken as he became angry. "I don't know, I was just walking around and then next thing I know I'm being chased, I found a magical bean and poof, I'm here." "Interesting. What's your name?" He raised his eyebrow in question. (A Twist On Peter Pan) “I’ll kill you, you hear me? I’ll kill you!” My face was red as I fought against the ropes that bound me to one of the masts. “I’d like to see you try Alison, because you’ll fail. Peter has failed, and look at him now.” He gestured to Peter, who was on his knees and was getting punched and kicked repeatedly by a large group of pirates. “And why don’t we watch your precious Will.” He grabbed my chin and forced me to look at Will, who was suffering the same fate as Peter. “Oh and don’t forget about your dear little Lost Boys.” I heard a scream and looked at Aaron, who was being hit by a man three times his size. “Stop! He’s just a little boy, please. You have me, you have Will and even Peter; we’re whom you want. Just let them go, you’ve won.” I sighed as the wicked man grinned at me. “Very brave Alison, very brave indeed. Well men, she said let the boys go, so let them go!” He said and I went pale as I realized what I had done. “No! Stop!” I screamed but it was too late. I watched with tears in my eyes as a pirate picked up Aaron and set him on the plank. I started to thrash around in the ropes, and felt them loosen a little bit. Come on! “I never liked children.” Hook said absentmindedly as Aaron started to cry, and looked at me, and I smiled at him. “Think of the stars Aaron, think of the stars.” I whispered as his scream rang out through the boat, just as I broke through the ropes and attacked. I took a breath and quickly wiped a stray tear from my eye, "I'm tired of living in their shadows, waiting for them to finally realize that I still exist. I tell myself to be strong, to ignore the pain that they cause me, but I can't. I love them. I love them and they don't love me."
