Pain. I hadn't felt it in a long time. Now, finally, it came back. The all too familiar sensation wrenched out the subconscious of mind and gave it conscience. Allowed it to spring to life. By lightning reflex, a dagger appeared within my hands. The drowsiness of sleep was blasted aside and gave way to a surging storm of energy.

I had been found. The enemy in front blinded me with bright light emitted from the palm of her right hand. A sorceress. I had been careless. My left cheek pulsated in warning. I had been attacked. Had she struck me with a curse? Poison? It may be timely to die. But not like this. I took aim and launched the dagger.

// Cynthe is a sorceress from the magic city of Melintha. Her life is normal(ish). Until the gods mysteriously send her away to an unknown world to heed her call of fate. To find a secretive warrior and explore new wonders as she embarks on the biggest adventure of the aeon.

Or not. She could also just mind her own business and herd goats or something. Turn the virtual page already to find to find out what happens in this ancient and awe-inspiring (goat-filled??) world!

For years, dragonkind and humankind had been at war, alternating between short-lived truces and all out warfare. In this age, however, humankind had subdued the proud dragonkind and turned them into slaves. Brands seared into their arms with the mark of a weeping dragon; the symbol of their defeat. Darin vehemently hated the mistreatment of the dragonkind, and when a branded runaway boy crossed his path, he made him his apprentice to protect him. Something had to be done. But in a strange turn of events, Darin found himself the leader of a peculiar band of travelers: His new apprentice, a brooding warrior, and an elven healer. Although he rarely traveled with others, he began to enjoy it as a long-term arrangement as days turned into weeks. Yet Amaredeia was still healing its war-ravaged wounds, and the cries of rebellion and anguish rose again. Could he really continue denying the calls of his apprentice's people? The Story of Midnight de Silverwynd

"Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?

In the world of Dragonfire, anything is possible. Flying, teleportation, invisibility, the ability to create a lightning storm on a whim...anything can be done. And anything can exist. Goblins, Orcs, Dragons, Dwarves, Kitsunes...there are countless races, and countless abilities. A world of fantasy in which anything is achievable. Or so it seems. After all, everything has a cost. And victory...victory is the most costing of all. Across the Black Sea, guarded by the Leviathan, there exists a large land separated into five territories. Celestia, Arvan, Ingres, Illicen, and Arumi. These five territories are named after those who control them. At least, that is how it used to be. From a distant land, the Snake Kingdom managed to bypass the Leviathan, and invade these five territories! Under the guidance of General Clauve, they crushed everyone in sight, until their only remaining opponent was Celestia. But they made a mistake, and Celestia capitalized. In a crushing defeat, the Snake Kingdom was bested after nearly 8 years of conflict. After the war ended, Albedo Aria, a soldier from Celestia, was promoted to the rank of General. But she didn't feel like a hero. Suffering from severe PTSD, this story follows her as she tries to overcome the nightmares of war, and move on from the terrible things she was forced to do. She was raised to be a soldier, and joined the war from the age of eleven. As a soldier of Celestia, she could never, and still cannot ever disobey any orders. When war calls, she must answer. Whether she is truly willing to or not. But after four years without conflict, surely things couldn't reach that state again? Or perhaps that isn't the case. After all, her dear cousin must deliver a letter to her. A letter telling her that the Snake Kingdom is on the rise in their very own land. A letter telling her that every sliver of happiness she has gained after the war ended will be lost. A letter telling her that she must return to war...

Sons Of Oblivion

13 Partes Continúa

Xavier and Z are two of the many children of Oblivion, the devil-like being feared across the cosmos. Born of violence, their mother Sabrina's suffering brought them into a world of hardship. Growing up on the impoverished, third-world planet of Dai-san-se-kai, Xavier and Z struggled to survive in a land where hope was a scarce resource. One fateful night, everything changed. Their planet was invaded, tearing the brothers apart. Now enslaved and forced to work in brutal mines, Xavier clings to a single purpose: to find his younger brother, Z. But as he toils under crushing conditions, Xavier begins to uncover strange powers within himself-echoes of the darkness that created him. In a universe where gods wage war and mortals are mere pawns, Xavier's search for his brother may uncover truths that will alter his destiny-and the fate of existence itself.
