In a historical fantasy world, Tessa Ryder daughter of the most powerful Duke loses all her family and is then abused by her uncle. As she flees from the reigns of her uncle she runs towards the sea where she finds an injured sea witch covering as a women. In exchange for Tessa's kindness the sea witch takes that was is great pain to Tessa and gives her power.

When her uncle finds her again years later he tires to take her back, but with the help of a great knight and her knew found family she maybe able to live on a better life.
