Wilbur never had anything going on in his life, He worked a bland office job and had no family. The only thing he ever looked forward to was going home and playing on the newest upcoming video game, The Dream SMP. Now, The Dream SMP wasn't any old video game, unlike other games, there were no rules. In The Dream SMP, you could build kingdoms, raise empires, and even create entirely new creatures.
In said video game, Wilbur was the ruler of a Kingdom called L'manburg, and he was always so excited to get back home to further build up his Kingdom. But one day, he wakes up inside of the game and ends up on the doorstep of the one creature he wished he never had made.

His eyes, usually dull and sad, were ablaze with anger and hatred. He was done with Dream, he was done letting people hurt him, he was done with L'manburg and how much pain that place alone had brought him. "It's a place that only holds sorrow and fear now, Tommy." Wilbur had said, his brown eyes dull as he spoke. "It's brought grief even to us, hasn't it." Wilbur looked at Tommy before he continued. "It's not the place I built, L'manburg not the place that you and I loved." How right Tommy realized Wilbur was. The place he had once called home was no more than a breeding house for the chaos and sadness that now plagued the SMP. He wished he hadn't been so blind in the beginning, listened to Wilbur. But he had hoped that L'manburg wasn't a lost cause, that what he had fought so hard for was still salvageable. But he knew that L'manburg was always meant to fall, and they had only delayed it's downfall. "I-I'm sorry Wilbur... I should have listened to you."
