You walk through the forest under the bright sunlight, its warmth wrapping around you like a shield. You know a demon lurks here-that's why you came. A weak one leaps at you, but you dispatch it with ease, its threat gone in an instant. A quiet "yay" escapes your lips; someone's life has been spared today.
Emerging from the woods, you find yourself in a bustling town. Your eyes are drawn to a stunning oiran standing gracefully nearby. With a quick breath, you approach her. "Hi," you say, offering a polite smile. "Sorry to bother you." But she doesn't respond, her attention elsewhere. Feeling a little awkward, you turn to leave.
Suddenly, something grabs you from behind. Your heart races as your vision blurs. The last thing you see is a pink bow before darkness takes you. I forgot... It's night.

I sat shaking in the cold, glass box I have spent most my life in. As a child, I would be thrown in here whenever I disobeyed orders or whenever I complained of my head throbbing like the sound of a hammer smashing a wall. "Shall I help you learn your lesson then?" A playful tone echoed out towards me and I tilted my head, holding back a smile. I nodded, I had guessed he could see me and by the small sigh of content I had been correct. "Or I could do this?" Before my eyes had caught up to the shift in the dust particles, a man stood behind the glass, now clearly visible to me.
