The Song of Love and War

Spin-off fanfic for the Song of Achilles.

The story loosely relates to the events in the novel, except the main character is an OC created for this story who falls in love with Ares, the god of war, who did not show up in the book.

Anthea, the twin sister of great and mighty Achilles, was born normal and completely unlike her brother. Bearing no god-like abilities or talents she was mutilated by her mother and neglected by her father. After having a fateful encounter with a wounded Ares, their story begins and blossoms.

You don't really need to read the Song of Achilles to read this. I can't guarantee that this is 100% historically accurate, but I am always open to constructive criticism. I am also aging the characters up a but so that their relationship is less weird.
