Steven ended up staying on Homeworld for a while to fix things, but what happens when White and Yellow betray him, resulting in his powers going away?
he ends up meeting the Diamond that Pink replaced, said Diamond is too weak to even leave the chambers she was locked away in by the other Diamonds, but she wants revenge for what he sisters did to her, so she gives Steven her greatest weapon, a symbiotite, so that he could go and take their revenge for them.
He is warned that the weapon he is being gifted has changed every being who has used it in a negative way mentally, but he needs to get home, which is all he really wants. Will the hybrid take the weapon? If so, will his optimistic world view hold out against the symbiotite? Find out.

So he just let it happen even though it was hurting when his gem was rotating but white diamond said that it might take awhile for it to rotate. So he was just walking around in pain but doesn't let it affect him and he didn't tell the gems of the new changes yet.
