After many trageties her and her mom faced last year, Annalee and her mom Katherine decided to move to Springfeild Missouri hoping for a fresh start. Annalee swore that she would not get a boyfriend, she could barley even stand by one without freaking out. 

She promised herself and her mother that waht happened last year would not happen again. She promised herself no drama, no boys, and to focuss on herself and getting better. 

But on her first day at her new school all she gets is attention and of course from a boy. But not just any boy, Ezariah Black or better known as Ezra.He is your typicall high school bad boy. But when his eyes land on the new shy girl will he help her forget about her promises or will she keep them?

Girls drool over them, and boys want to be them. Ever since they started at Allenwood Academy, and she met them, they've hate her, and she hates them too. Allenwood Academy announces that they will be having their 50th annul Masquerade Ball. Selena hasn't gone ever since she started at Allenwood Academy, but her 2 best friends convince her to go this year. Selena gives in, and goes. What she doesn't know, is that she dances with one of her enemeys: 15 year old Nathan Sykes. She leaves after she dances with him, because she wasn't aloud to go, under her step-mothers orders. When she goes to leave, her mask falls off when she turns around. Nathan picks it up, and runs after her, but it's too late, because she's gone. The next day, Nathan tries to find the girl he danced with the previous night, by asking all the girls at Allenwood if it was their mask. Little did he know, that his last choice was Selena.
