ISO certification ensures that a management system, has all the requirements for standardization as per the ISO standards. ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is an independent, non-governmental and international organization that develops standards for the quality, safety and effectiveness of products, services and systems.
Supply Chain and Customer satisfaction
An ISO certification can improve an organization by improving the performance of its process. The ISO insists on adhering the Strict Standards and guidelines developed by the best practices followed all round the world. An Organization which is ISO certified can improve the whole supply chain both down the line and to the customers improving the customer satisfaction
Most of the ISO standards are developed to Standardize the process that are being followed in an organization. Depending upon the Industries there are many standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000 applicable to the organization. Each standards concentrates to satisfy all the interested parties including the customer
Relation between customer satisfaction and business improvement
Many companies want to implement an ISO certificate just to fulfill a customer need. The client says that it only works with ISO certified vendors to get (or hold) the work for which the certificate is required. The problem with these companies is that they are looking for short term payments. They see something different as an advantage - we need money and ignore long-term benefits, such as "if we keep the customer satisfied, they want to come back".
