When he pulls through, he tells her that he wasn't planning on telling her, not until she turned 18. Stiles wants to be with him, but Derek says he can't. Its only 12 months until her birthday, and if she still wants to be with him, then they can be together. Stiles doesn't like that plan, she doesn't understand why they cant be together, but wait until she is 18 to have sex.
