Samantha Joseph has had a rough life and a slightly less rough, but more turbulent, past couple of years.
Her life really began when she ran away from her father, to escape yet another beating, and wound up in the back yard of none other than Tyler Joseph of Twentyone Pilots, and his wife Jenna.
Through a myriad of strange and terrible events, the Josephs adopted Samantha. But their fight to keep her didn't end there. A kidnapping, a near drowning, a new baby sister, a biological uncle who popped up and then a life threatening accident (or two) kept the family from knowing stability.
Finally, after so many trials and tribulations, it all seems to be finished. The Josephs are a family. Legally, and forever. Samantha is thriving and growing and becoming the person her late biological father seemed to want to destroy.
Is it true? Can the Josephs finally relax and be a family?
Samantha Joseph has had a run of bad luck. A car accident in the fall, while on a weekend trip with her adopted father, Tyler Joseph (yes, THAT Tyler Joseph) ultimately led to the loss of her right leg, leaving the teenager, a star basketball player on her school team, questioning her value in life and to her family.
Her parents, Tyler and Jenna, and her sisters, Rosie and her new baby sister, Junie, along with her myriad of honorary "uncles" and "aunts" helped Samantha come to terms with her new life.
Now things are starting to look up for Samantha. She's found a new basketball team that accepts her disability as par for the course. And her school team is also willing to accommodate her needs. Life is finally going Samantha's way.
And Samantha has her whole family to thank for turning her into... Ms Believer.
