A barbarian king awakens to the crowing of vultures on a desolate battle-field after a clash between two warrior clans to determine who would rule the land of Vyrcurias. His memory is fragmented, as he can only recall snippets of what happened leading up to the onslaught. Once a lavish king, Kyrthas now must wander the land in search of new purpose or perhaps to rebuild his fallen empire.
