A moon!Varian AU that incorperates my original character Talia, who plays as the alchemest's twin sister.
Being trapped in the chrona dungeons for just over a year, Varian is broken out by a young lady, one whom he had been separated from for over 14 years.
With Sephora on high rise and the impending doom of zhan tiri, Varian must learn to once again trust and work together with not only his sister, but also his worst enemy.
This story will include;
Light angst
Claustrophobic!varian
Implied trans!varian
Only canon romantic relationships will be included (ex; new dream)
Blood (not gore, but a decent amount of bloodshed from battles)
Implied mental health issues (nothing graphic!)

The series finale just hit its fifth anniversary, and as I was thinking about it I remembered this fanfic existed. ...this is certainly a piece of work, lmao. Between the writing style being very reflective of my age to the self-deprecating comments I wrote about my own writing to the stolen cover art (my sincerest apologies for that, I am going to change it but the original is by @codynaomiswireart on tumblr) it is beyond me what was going through my head when I wrote it. It is for that reason I found myself shocked to see it with thousands of reads and comments, which thank you for by the way, I did not realize there was this much demand for moon Varian lol. For now I intend on leaving it up solely because it is hilarious to me and a good reflection on what was at the time a very important show to me. In the present, a lot of my love for the series has been somewhat diminished, due to many factors. But I won't deny what it did for me then, as I have moved onto, what I am hopeful to view as far greater artistic pursuits lol.
