The world reopened on the day it ended.

After two years of being stuck at home due to the virus outbreak, the world had access to normalcy once more. People were allowed to go out, to make contact, and connect again. And no one was not planning on wasting any minute of it.

And so, a small group of friends went to the newly opened mall in their city to celebrate the reopening of society. But they didn't expect that in a few hours, they would be scattered and separated because of the strange, aggressive attacks that were happening everywhere. They found themselves trapped in a gift shop, music store, and the ladies' toilet as mayhem ensued in the mall.

No one saw it coming. No one had a clue. No one knew that those two years were only the beginning of something far more apocalyptic.

Some fates are worse than death--survival is one of them. In the two hundred years since humanity left the Earth's surface to live in the sky, life on the ground faded to a myth, a tragic memory from which they severed themselves to survive. They floated above continents turned to sand and lands swallowed by the seas, watched storm after storm rage against their cities and their monuments until they broke apart the last vestiges of civilization in penance for generations of human greed. As a lightning harvester charged with flying her ship into these storms for energy, Raina has seen more of the planet than most. She has spent her entire life soaring above its craters and scars, studying the gaping wounds of human devastation, as she honed her skills and became the youngest captain in storm-chaser history. Her ship has flown for generations. Her skills are unparalleled. But none of that matters the day they go down. ~ Praise for Earth, After: "I'm so not ready for this ending. We all were hiding in random places, apparently any place we could find. There were a ton of zombies, the whole place was full of them. Many people from our group were lost to the virus. Muffled voices, blurred vision and heavy breathes were heard. The ship which everyone had longed for soon arrived. The plan was to run to the ship and never look back. The ferry was anchored at the harbor and on the signal, everyone ran for their precious lives, not daring to look back. Some people couldn't make it in 'The End' .
