Hi guys! I'm new on Wattpad right now. This is the very first short story I wrote (apart from the ones when I was, like, five) and I'd appreciate it if y'all just read it and left a few suggestions. I admit it's not that good, maybe even a cliche, but I just want your opinions. Tell me how I can improve my writing styles, etc. I really, really, really wanna be a novelist, so you can you help me make my dream come true?
Lauren wants to give her best friend her dream gift for her birthday, but with her, no one can be sure she will until she does. Will she be true to her word, or will she end up making another impulsive decision?

I wrote this story before I knew what I was even doing! This was written in 2011 and is unedited and sloppy. It's the first story I ever wrote. Maybe one day I'll be able to do an edit now that I know what I'm doing more. First step, moving out of my parent's house. Second step, finding a roommate. Kendra finally thought she was free. She's 21 and getting a place away from her parents. She never thought it was going to be this hard but when you end up with a sex-crazed roommate that doesn't know the meaning of quiet or privacy... things can get a little complicated.
