Zenitsu is battling a pair of demons with Tanjiro for a mission. However, when the demons split up, they are forced to fight 1 on 1. While Tanjiro deals with the other demon pretty well, Zenitsu encounters some difficulties. The demon catches him by surprise using a blood demon art, which shrinks him.
The story occurs right after the entertainment district arc in the anime, I will try my best not to give spoilers for anything after season 1 and if I do, I will give spoiler warnings at the beginning of the chapter. I have not read any of the manga, but am planning to, so please don't spoil anything for me.

Ok so this is based off of many stories that i have read. I wanted to make one of my own✨ sorry if its bad like i said im new to this! All minors are aged up to be in their middle 20's. Description: Tanjiro went off to the villiage to sell coal like he usally does. When he returns he finds his family to be slaughtered, everyone passes. Devastated tanjiro loses any emotion making him feel empty. When all hope seemed loss, something happened that could only be described as a mircle, somebody named yorichi a swordsman was willing to help tanjiro. With the help of his new teacher tanjiro rose that ranks fairly quickly meeting the hashira. Everyone was taken aback by his buety, eveybody wanted tanjiro for themselves... EVERYBODYYY Thats it. Music to My Ears (Demon Slayer KNY Zenitsu x y/n)
This story is about y/n's backstory and how it affects her relationship with Zenitsu. It is a very VERY slow moving story but once it starts moving, it picks up very fast (around chapter 3). It shows that, even though you both are facing challenges, you can still work through them to become better. I will try to upload once a week. (Zenitsu makes his first appearance in chapter 8. Chapter 1-7 is just backstory and training but I do suggest that you read it because it literally makes everything make so much more sense and gives everything so much more meaning). The chapters are very very short, the shortest being about 400 words long and the longest being 5,000 words long. Most of the stories are a little over 1,000 words long. NGL I have over 40 chapters scheduled so you guys are good until at least July lmao. Just be a little patient at the beginning and it gets really interesting! Thank you for reading! This story does have all kinds of sensitive content in it like eating disorders, violence, blood, emotional trauma, cursing (if that counts), rape or sexual assault, etc so just read at your own risk. Also, since I try to make it as realistic as possible, since this takes place in Japan early 1900s, there are teenagers getting married so that's a heads up.
