If only they could hear him.
The Lusian Tragedy is a multi-book novel about the fictional city of Lusia, set in the early 1800s. It's a city in rubble after the inaction of their duke left many to starve and perish through the many years he neglected them. Citizens that remain are kept in check by the "Divinities", a sort of military police that answers directly to the duke himself and violently represses deviancy. Resisting the Divinites however, are multiple faction groups all vying for control over the limited food rations and area left in the city, sometimes picking fights with each other more often than with the Divinities. In a den in the east side, there is a group of ambitious faction members, who are reluctantly sprung into action to fight for their cause. Once the duke is gone, it can all go back to normal.
