The shimmer of the yellow light

Peeping through the green patches

Pushing away the dark night

Awakening everyone, who comes to its
sight

The birds start to sing

Eager to flap their wings

Ready to race to the sky

On the marks, get set & here they soar
high

The blissful meadows swaying in the
parade

All decent, wide & awake

Dancing to the rhythm of the breeze

Soft & sound, on their toes with
ease

Here comes the blue river

Chimeing with pebbles with great pleasure

Stumbling over a bumpy ride

Keeping all sorrows aside

All alone but still I smile

Enchanted with nature’s such a good
style

Such vivid images even can be felt by
blind

Oh Mother Nature! Thank you for this
gift to mankind

Witnessing this beautiful version of nature

Fills my heart with joy

Waiting for more such shower of blessings

Most impressive rank: 1 - Fairytale *** Casey is all alone in the werewolf world, the only family she has left is her crazy dad. her mum died of cancer, causing her dad to go crazy and start beating Casey. What's worse is that she can't get away from the violence because when she goes to school they do the same. *** I close my eyes so I could listen and smell everything in case this was the last time I would ever be in this beautiful forest. I chase away any bad or worried thoughts because this place seemed so sacred it did not allow them. I breath in and catch the sweet scent of lavender flowers that speckled the ground in little clumps and the dry smell of dirt that hadn't been rained on in a couple of day. I listen to the steady titters of birds as they fly from tree to tree, collecting little twigs and leaves to build their nests with. I listen to the buzz of the bees greedily feasting on the flowers that scattered around the dry forest floor. I open my eyes to take in the scenery, rays of sunlight filter through the green canopy, penetrating through the leaves and casting a green-yellow effulgence over the ground that wavers as the trees rustle in the light whispers of wind. The crunching of dry leaves under my feet alert me so I cast my eyes to the floor and watch as I step on each individual leaf and dry twig, enjoying the snapping sounds that echo through the near silent forest. Gnarly roots dip into ground and twisted branches reach down, fingers grasping the air, as if reaching for me and I shiver, thinking of my father. I cast my eyes up to think of something else and instantly calm as another puff of breeze rustles the leaves on the trees and ground gently. I look ahead and notice the steady thinning of the old trees and run towards it, loving the feeling of the air in my air and clothes. I spot what I think is light dancing on waters surface and sprint for it. Then I break through the trees, making it to the lake.
Sunday's Dream by SundaysDream
16 parts Ongoing
This story is about Sunday's life, a child growing up in a tumultuous home life and how she finds solace in the beauty of nature surrounding their new beach town. The best things in life are Sunday's older sister who is the mother figure in her life, and her best friend who lives up the hill in a cozy cottage. Sunday's family consists of her mother - who is irrational, her boyfriend - who is a deadbeat, an older brother, and a brand-new baby half-brother. With all the chaos in Sunday's young life, she remains sharp and navigates through her private life fearlessly. In response to their mother's vindictive and manipulative actions, they moved to this off-the-beaten-path town, to a run-down bungalow on the edge of town. Living here, their grifter mother's mood swings become more irrational and her alcoholic boyfriend's unscrupulous behavior grow dangerously freighting, and both- slowly become rotten to the core. The mother does everything in her power to keep the sisters away from their father just to make her point; her behavior is vindictive and manipulative. Seventeen is how many times they have moved since their mother took them away from their dad. Although there is much to be said about Sunday's situation, this new town becomes a sanctuary, filled with magic and wonder at every turn. This small beach town is surrounded by lush woods and tall cliffs, and on the highest peak overlooking the town, on the darkest night, the busy city can be seen in the distance with its twinkling lights. Sunday will stand there many times looking as she dreams of past times and dreams of better times. With the help of her sister's support and her best friend's cheerful behavior, Sunday remains resilient and stays hopeful. Because Sunday sees beauty in every bit of nature surrounding her, she finds solace on her long walks. She finds joy in exploring her new town, meeting new people, witnessing small miracles, holding onto faith in God, and diving into books.

As a runt, Jade didn't think she'd ever find a pack willing to accept her, even though she has gained an impressive set of skills while surviving in No Man's land. A chance encounter provides the opportunity to prove her worth, but when she arrives, against all odds, she picks up an irresistible scent. Her soulmate. Standing at a crossroads, she must decide if she's willing to grasp at her chance of unconditional love-and risk the heart-rending pain of rejection. As a runt, the odds are not in her favor. -------- On a side note: None of the main characters are mated to an Alpha. No character has 'exclusive' abilities or powers. ----- Excerpt: My steps faltered as I noticed that two of the pursuing wolves had sped ahead and were waiting to intercept me. I launched toward a tree and ricocheted off at a ninety-degree angle without slowing down. One of the wolves behind quickly followed and began closing in. I started to panic, looking around frantically for a way to escape. I saw a rabbit burrow under a small bramble bush and desperately raced towards it. I darted under the edge of the plant and heard the tan wolf go around as he expected me to come out the other side. It gave me the precious seconds I needed to squeeze down the tunnel. My relief was short-lived - the rabbit that dug this burrow had not survived long enough to finish it. The tunnel was only about twice as long as the average human arm, and I could clearly see the entrance. I sent a silent prayer that the bramble bush would deter them and that they would not realize just how shallow this burrow was. I waited anxiously. ~read the rewrite, 'Celestial Bodies: Of Runts and Lycans,' for free on my profile~ #1 in werewolf (first time: December 13th, 2015) #64 in drama (May 11th, 2018) Xavier sighed and tried to move in front of me without scaring me into backing away from him. "It's okay little one," he said as came closer to me. I felt so tiny in his presence, especially in wolf form. He knelt down and tried to move closer but I whimpered and backed up more into the tree. He sighed again before trying again and I tired to put all my fears away as he once again reached out his hand. I put my head down, hoping that if I couldn't see him, I wouldn't be scared. As I felt his hand on my back and felt tingles explode, I jumped but then relaxed as I got used to it. I calmed down more as he picked up my small frame and held me close before whispering into my ear, "What has happened to you little one?" *~*~*~* Celeste has always been running. "Shift." His voice hit me like a serrated blade as he stepped out of the crude semicircle of hardened wolves that had formed around me. I pushed myself off of the cold floor for what felt like the thousandth time that day, wiping the small trail of blood coming off of my lip and down my chin. "I won't ask you again." My limbs felt like lead, these wolves had been at me for hours trying to get me to shift into my wolf, unbeknown to them was that their efforts would forever be futile considering the fact my wolf wouldn't make an appearance for me even when I begged. I seriously doubted she would suddenly pop up as a result of their abusive tactics. Instead of explaining my circumstances, driven by a bizarre combination of adrenaline and fatigue, I leaned back on my heels and sent the largest loogie I'd ever conjured flying over and landing squarely between the eyes of the man before me. oOoOoOoOoOo As a late bloomer who was incapable of shifting yet, let alone making any contact with her wolf, Olive Ludovic's life was not off to the best start. Growing up, constantly being tormented and taunted by those around her forced Olive to grow a tough skin and work even harder, despite the fact she was without her wolf. When her home is taken over by a dark pack, life seems to only get worse for Olive as it is quickly discovered that her mate is none other than Matteo, the Alpha of the very pack that was terrorizing her people. It seems to her, that life is just a little bit easier for Olive the Other Werewolves. oOoOoOo hello! just fyi there will be mature language and content as the book progresses so i'm letting ya know now ;) HIGHEST WEREWOLF RANKING = 2, LOVE RANKING = 3 (out of 1.8 million books XD), MAGIC RANKING = 1, ROMANCE RANKING = 1 (out of 1.5 million books XD), VAMPIRE RANKING =1!
