Ruby Mitchell just wanted a normal life. She often wondered what her life would have been like if she had had loving parents, friends, a home. She knew thoughts like this were useless as she sat curled up in the corner of her cell that she had been forced to call home for she didn't know how long. This was her new normal and she'd have to get used to it. Tortured and forced to do terrible things by an organization she hadn't even known existed before they took her. "Hydra" she had heard them call themselves but no matter how hard she tried she couldn't force any recognition at the title. Little did she know she had landed in the crosshairs of the Avengers and her whole life was about to change...Again.
