In early 2017, a catastrophe rocked Samaria Alessi for the rest of her life.

With the support of her rather unconventional family unit, she spends every day of her life leading herself toward forgiveness for what happened. Regardless of her brothers' and her own atheism, they attend church to appease their mother and father. But that, too, becomes catastrophic for Sam, in the best kind of way.

Father Henry has taken his position as the new and reformed Priest, but there's something about him that sets Sam's nerves alight and makes her forget her shortcomings.
