Rover never has been much of a social butterfly. And not in a trendy i'm-not -like-other-girls way, but in a crippling anxiety to the point of secluding and pushing away almost everyone who cares about her type of way. Of course, as she likes to tell her best friend, Bella, "she's working on it". In an attempt to escape the suffocating confines of her dorm room, (and an overall college culture that she just can't quite seem to find her place in), Rover does what any desperate college student would do; she takes the bus. To somewhere. Anywhere. She finds herself getting off 13 stops later, at a quaint, little street that holds 3 different coffee shops, 1 barbershop, 2 thrift stores, and 1 brightly colored, hole-in-the-wall bookstore. Rover has always loved reading, ever since she was a kid, so of course she B-lines to the bookshop, which she can now make out is cleverly named "Pages Between Us". However, it's once she's inside said bookshop, that her journey truly begins. When she meets a boy named Felix, who will turn her entire life upside down, inside out, and everything in between.
