I would say that this is a stand alone book but like most comic books you have to read the one made before the current one to understand it. Alot of characters will be reoccurring that was in that book and will be important to the knowledge that's in this book. So I advise you to read it first then read this I do not own any DC characters I only own the OC created inside the book!
