A different take on the life of Hikigaya Hachiman. After he's rejected by Orimoto, Hikigaya goes through a change. Instead of hating the world and becoming bitter, blunt, etc. He conforms, puts on a mask and goes with the universe's wishes. You might think that he would be a carbon copy of Hayato... That's where you're wrong. This Hachiman is way more dangerous. What do you get when you mix a hidden loner turned Riajuu and give him an affinity for analysis? Someone you shouldn't mess with.

I do not own OreGairu or anything related to it.

I forgot about this for a while but now I'm coming back to update it. My perspective, personality and writing style changed over the years so it's going to be slightly different from how I used to write three years ago. I'm still going to keep the underlying plot of Hachiman being a different person but going to try and spin it in a more realistic way. 

Also, this is going to be Yukino x Hachiman, if I feel like I'm going somewhere with this type of setting then I'll create a different fanfic with another FL just for, you know, equality and love for all characters and whatever✌️Bảo Lưu Mọi Quyền

"You're the only person who hasn't changed." Yukinoshita's words echoed through my ears which have been deaf for my entire life. She exits the house, never to be seen again. More like, I was the person to never been seen again... My father and mother had found a job that paid very well in the United States of America. Me, my little sister Komachi and my parents were forced to move into the U.S. I couldn't bring myself to tell all my... the people who I normally cooperate with in high school. I was going to graduate as a 3rd Year anyway, I doubt I would see more than half of them during adulthood. In the end, they all found out because Haruno managed to get that information out of me. Let's just say... All I did was wanted to not worry them. I mean, is there a reason to be worried that Hachiman Hikigaya has been missing? Yet 2 of my.. acquaintances, worried for me. I failed to even notice that and I paid the price. So I cut all their contact info, I hesitated to delete Yukinoshita's contact number but she had already done the deed first. "Let's go, say goodbye to Chiba." Komachi went into the car, with tears. I, Hachiman, didn't shed none, for I never had any friends in the first place right? We moved into the U.S. in California. We weren't exactly rich but we were richer than average foreigners that lived here. It was all thanks to my parent's new jobs. "So, have you found a job yet?" My father asks. Being 18, I knew I would have to find a job in a matter of months or else I'll possibly get kicked out. I threw away newspapers that were recruiting young people for small minor jobs like becoming a cashier for a fast food restaurant. Or maybe a newspaper boy and a person who puts stuff in the markets. Then I noticed a brochure that went with the newspaper. 'Become a future U.S. army soldier and help us fight in the War in Afghanistan!' "You're the only person who hasn't changed." Disclaimer- this takes place in Japan but anything to do with the law will be Canadian. This is only because im Canadian and im too lazy to learn a whole other law. Which is why the legal drinking age is 19 years old, and everyone in this story in either 19 or older. Same with the time zones. I also make a lot of references from things probably known better from the early 2000s. During this time period anything to do with homosexuality wasn't considered normal and not many people were so open about it so just keep that in mind while reading.

His emotionless face, the stillness of his body sitting in the chair. But she failed to realize that Hachiman broke even more. Losing his his entire family, and now losing to the one person he hated the most and having known his crush would be with someone else. Having no power to prevent it. He was already at the bottomless pits of hell. October 31st, 2018: a graduation party takes place in Sobu High School. As he stared at the window inside his room, he noticed Komachi's old boyfriend, Taishi, and another person outside the front yard. And after heading the contents of their conversation. Hell decided to return Hachiman Hikigaya back to the living world, with a gift. But it really wasn't a gift. It brought itself to him.
