This won't be one individual story, instead, every chapter will be a new one inspired by the song of the chapter. I'm not good at writing especially short stories, but I like to challenge myself by doing something I'm not good at. Still, I hope you will enjoy reading them. I'm accepting suggestions for songs, so feel free to write your favorite ones, so I could listen to them and might write a story about them: )

Caleb has a gift: He can sing. But not sing just like any other kid, he might as well be the next pop star of the century. But... no one knows about it because he sings in secret. Why, you ask? Well, it's because he doesn't want others to know him. He's extremely shy. Yep that's right. Caleb is just as shy as how much he loves to sing. His introverted self doesn't allow him to just sing whenever he wants. So he finds time whenever he's alone. When at last everyone leaves him alone, oh how amazing and wonderful his voice echoes out all along the walls of anywhere he can be alone. His amazing talent, however, one day lures in an audience. Together with his newfound 'friend' sworn to keep his singing secret, they find a way to make Caleb's talent known and help him finally face his demons: attention. ----------------------------------------------------------- This is my first attempt at a short story. Although I've tried to turn it into a full on novel, my creative brain can't go that far with this... Anyway, I hope you enjoy! Feel free to comment, vote, and maybe follow me if 'ya want? COMPLETED✅ Two high school teenagers finding themselves, analyzing this ever changing world, and building love. This is the type of love you wish you found in high school but probably know way too well that it only exists as fiction. Today I'm turning my fiction to reality. ❣️•••❣️ Excerpt: Just as I was about to seek shelter under some building's roof, the tires of a car come to a halt, I wonder who might pity the lonely girl walking in the rain. The passenger window rolls down, and I spot the most unexpected person seated behind the wheel. "Get in" comes out his voice, and I must've stood there agape for a few moments because next comes his rhetorical question. "Are you getting in or continuing walking in the rain?" Eyebrows raised expectantly. She looks up at me, taking a step forward and smiling slightly, "How can I ever get hurt when I have you here to protect me?" "But you could have gotten hurt," I murmur softly, hanging my head and feeling my shoulders drop, the tension seeping from my body. "No. Stop," She cuts me off sternly but tenderly, "Don't talk like that, Reece. I'm okay, you're okay, we're okay," She speaks softly, reaching her hand up to gently brush her thumb over my cheek, just under the cut that's there. "We're okay," I repeat, taking a small step closer to her. She nods with a small smile, moving her hand down from my cheek and instead placing the palm of her hand on my chest, right over my heart. I know she can feel how fast my heart is beating. I just don't know why it's doing that. ~ Reece Carter is the bad boy of Northwood High. He smokes and he fights. He has countless tattoos covering his body. And he doesn't care about anything or anyone else. Layla Stevens is your average seventeen year-old girl, just trying to get through high school, with the friends she loves and doing the things she loves. When these two cross paths accidentally in an unusual way, they leave and never expect to speak to each other again. But fate has other plans. Layla finds her way into Reece's life and Reece doesn't know what to do about it. This ray of Sunshine suddenly meant something to him. She understood him when it seemed like no one else did. Scared to love
I kept on moving back and he kept walking closer till my back touched the lockers. He trapped me in between his huge hands and I closed my eyes facing away "Why are you so scared of me?" he said in his amazingly husky voice. "Well if you keep on hitting people and make them bleed all day you don't come out as the most friendly person on earth you know?" I said making eye contact. "Give me a chance.
