about a one penelope ledger
Penelope Ledger does not like her name; she opts to go by Penny instead. That is what her friends should call her - if she had friends, anyways.
Instead of talking to people, Penny spends time reading and listening and watching to people who were never alive and to people who are famous for their voices and to people who are just putting on acts. Those people will one day be forgotten. Penny does not want to forget them.
Penny's blood parents are dead. Her foster parents don't know that she knows that.
Penny has hidden photos of her blood parents around her room, searched up and found on the internet with her foster father's credit card. One of the photos is printed out and kept in a locket around her neck. When her foster father questioned her about the money, she lied and said that she used it to buy upgrades in Temple Run.
Penny is bored with her life.
Penny wonders what it would be like to live another life.
Penny doesn't know it yet, but she's going to get her wish - and it's much more than she'd bargained for.
