For twelve years, the virtual world of Yggdrasil has served as the playground and battlefield for people all around the world. But sadly all good things must come to an end and soon Yggdrasil would be shutting down permanently.

I guess it is a good thing Zero didn't expect to live for very long anyways.
She gave up on fighting once she heard the servers were going down, the cancer could win for all she cared. Without Yggdrasil there was no reason to keep going.

When she logs in one last time just to be there when the servers go dark, something happens--and suddenly, fantasy is reality.
