the yellow door is a dystopian short story i wrote this year for my english class.
"The year is 2999. Ashe Nikolaid is the daughter of the richest couple in Athens. Life is going relatively well for her. She has money, a best friend, and the love of all the wealthy in The Silver Quarter. Suddenly, the people start to believe that someone must be sacrificed on December 31 2999 or else Artemis will unleash her wrath upon the city. Thalia, none other than Ashe's best friend is chosen for the sacrifice. Can Ashe save her best friend and save Athens before it's too late?"
