Light conflicted with the Dark, the Heights conflicted with the Depths, the Light overwrites the Shadows.
The heights were above Teyvat, a known realm that was focused on light magic. All of which, was controlled by Celestia and its gods. It was a realm worthy to be praised, as Teyvatians worshipped its gods and Archons. But, in a place like this, there will always be those who rival the divine.

The Depths are viewed as evil, the main enemy of the Celestials being the Equinox, power-hungry enemies willing to do anything to strive in power. Dark energy flooded the Depths, dark magic flowing through families and lands. But, there is an unknown zone in the Depths, a place that isn't known, but that doesn't want to be known: The Abyss.

The Abyss contains nations that have fallen by their own hands, mysterious nations that vanished to never exist again in history. Khaenri'ah is one of those fallen nations, bearing its own rage within the depths. Most of the citizens of the Abyss never come to the surface, preferring to stay within the safety of their nation.

That was until a Khaenri'ahns brother goes missing, and she believes he is in captivity by the Equinox on the near-surface, the main enemy of Teyvat and Celestia.

Will she be able to find her brother? What if she is included in a bigger problem? What will happen if she meets a certain Yaksha who despises her due to her origins?

And... Will the truth of the Abyss come to light? We will never know...
