Onryn, one such false god, has been summoned back to the brutal and breathtaking domain of Egypt's Aethryn, the Ityrhen, after over half a century away. A forest rose planted in the desert, Onryn must now survive as a target amongst her kind in a place that values power over all else.

With a near-immortal life, Onryn must climb or contend with an eternity of being cannon fodder, and here, no one wants to be cannon fodder. To climb, Onryn must choose her alliances carefully, and forge herself a new path.
