The Scene: New York City 1926
The Girl: Claire Manor knows little about the world outside of her tenement slum. However, she's sure of one thing, the dazzling life of a liberated young woman in the 20s. But she can only fantasize about the dresses, booze, and glamour because her duty is to help her widowed mother make ends meet.
The Opportunity: One night she goes to a speakeasy and engages in a risky act. Soon after, she is caught by a mysterious man, Leonardo Bendino, who offers her the chance to experience the world of wit and art as her mentor.
