Deep within the deepest part of Voldemort, was a wish he knew that would inevitably could cause his downfall.
A wish. A hopeless wish of wanting to have someone rule the wizarding world. Someone who would be 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 him and not merely 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 him. He's not asking for any romancing per se as everyone know he couldn't feel affection towards anyone. So, he amused himself with the thought of having someone with his side who is like him.
Of course, there will he some difference. But mostly they should be exactly the same.
And he realized that an heir is exactly what he needs.
