She doesn't attend school, being a genius kid. The only thing that really means something to her is the superhero, Captain America. Even he too is dead, though.
Now that the world is in danger, Fury is recruiting the Avengers, a team of superheros. If they work together, they can save the world. Will they work together, though? Can Cal work with this team of misfits?

Steve Rogers tried to isolated himself from the rest of the Avengers and the world after what he did to Tony Stark, his friend and teammate. However, after he drops Bucky off in Wakanda where he'll be safe, Steve feels more alone than ever. Natasha Romanoff is on her own. Bruce Banner is still missing, Thor is off who-knows-where doing who-knows-what, and the Avengers are scattered. Nevertheless, she's perfectly okay with being alone. She always has been. Knowing that Steve is alone, however? It worries her. And when HYDRA is involved, being alone may not be an option. --------------------------------------------------------------------- This fanfiction takes place after Civil War and before Infinity War. I am WELL aware that Avengers Endgame is probably going to invalidate every word that I write here, but whatever. I just wanted to write this. DISCLAIMER: All of these characters, despite a couple background, belong to Marvel. The story and events that take place, however, are all of my own design. I also changed a few characters (who haven't been introduced to the MCU yet) so that they'd fit the story. You got two months to fix the problem or you are out." "What do you mean out?" Natasha asked "Out of a Job... restrictions on some of you...the others will end up back in prison. I won't be able to help any of you if you don't get your shit together." Fury crossed his arms "You can't do that." Tony pointed at him "It's not up to me anymore. The government wants you all out, frankly I am the only thing stopping them from doing that. They agreed for giving all of you a second chance but what ever this is," He motioned to all of them. "Needs to be fixed before any more people get hurt...again." Where the Avengers are having trouble working together as a team after Civil War. The Compound is always in major Chaos, each one of them still has a grudge against each other and Fury (and Pepper) are tired of the childish fights. Because of this the team can't seem to work together anymore, giving the government a reason to disassemble the Avengers for good. One chance and two months to find the trust in each other again, Pepper sends the team to the country with an old friend who owns a ranch. With hard work from Rebecca and her ranch hands, can she help fix them? Will the team ever be the same? And maybe some love can blossom from all of this? Bucky Barns X OC

It's been almost two years since the defeat of Thanos & the effects of the snap was successfully reversed. The world has slowly picked up the pieces & everyone worked hard to resume their lives right off where the Decimation left them hanging. Some succeeded, as easily as pressing the play button after putting a movie on a long pause, while some were never the same again despite regaining everything and everyone they have lost. The Avengers were the lucky ones. Lucky enough to go back to their normal or fortunate enough to be given a fresh start. Tony & Pepper got married & jetted off in a private island to finally start their long overdue family life. Sam moved back to D.C & resumed his work at the VA. Rhodey continued working as a military consultant & Wakanda has never been more occupied as it became the number one tourist spot in less then a year. Clint went back to retirement tugging Wanda along with him to his farm where Laura welcomed her with open arms. Thor & Bruce were off-planet helping the remaining Asgardians settle on a new home. Fury rebuilt his super spy network with Maria overseeing operations at the Avengers Facility, recruiting, training a new breed of response team. And Steve finally got Bucky back & they have spent the past year back in Brooklyn, traveling the world once in a while & even participating in USO tours and fairs. Everyone tried to move on and rightly so because at the end of the day, that's pretty much what's expected of everyone after any tragedy. Natasha, too has moved on. The only problem is, she chose to move on alone. * I don't own any of these characters or wish to infringe on any copy or intellectual rights. I'm just someone who has a deep love for the MCU that I can't help but try to keep the story going, keep these characters alive in more adventures, especially with 'endgame' hovering, looming over us.*
