A Peter Pan Retelling ~
Peter Wiltshire was a troubled boy. After losing his mother to a ruthless disease, and witnessing a murder at the age of twelve, it's no wonder he refused to grow old, causing him to step into the persona of his favorite fairytale character from the bedtime stories his mother used to tell him - Peter Pan.
But after acquiring a few lost boys of his own and dreaming up a dark place he liked to call The Never, it's no secret imagination can be a dangerous thing.
And when Maya Rivera sits with him in his last hours alive, she inherits more than just his estate - and she may be a little too late discovering his secrets.

In which a boy who thinks he controls everything meets the girl who actually does. --- Peter Pan is king of Neverland, a mystical island of his own creation. His Lost Boys serve as his troops and have been his only company for the last millennium. Until his shadow brought a girl to Neverland, by the name of Wendy Darling. But she's not the one this story's about. Why? It's simple. Because she's dead. She broke Peter's heart, so he killed her. Only he and the Lost Boys know what happened the night Wendy disappeared, and Peter means to take the secret to his grave, assuming he ever dies, of course. If the Lost Boys know what's good for them, they will too. None of the other creatures on the island have any idea of what became of the one girl who had ever set foot on Neverland. Abigail however was a human adopted by her fairy tale family to live in Storybrooke forever. She had no friends, was constantly teased for not having magic, and was almost 18 years old. One day she finally had enough of the verbal abuse she received and decided to run away. She wakes up in a strange land surrounded by teenage boys with one in particular who takes an unwanted interest in her. His name was Peter Pan. The most gruesome villain in the land. Abigail believes that there is good in Peter Pan but when she can't leave Neverland until she admits to herself who she really is. Peter Pan and Abigail spend time together both good with some laughs and bad with a lot of screaming and tears while she attempts to get off of the island without any help from Peter or the lost boys. Will Abigail make it off the island? Will Peter give up his villain ways to be with Abigail? Does Abigail stay in Neverland forever and not age? Or does she take Peter and the lost boys back to Storybrooke with her?
