In this Au, Dust is the new king despite everybody hating him, even his parents think of him as a heartless monster. When a new royal ascends to the throne, a poison is made with a drop of their blood. The poison kills anyone who eats or drinks it in one night. Except the next Queen or King to marry into the family. There is only one way to survive the poison if the person is not royal, which is to have the new king or queen heal them by will.
