Yuki Haku never expected to see her family die in an attack and then have them resurrected by the same enemy's jutsu. Yuki never expected that she would have to leave her family safety to fight in a great war and then surviving it. Yuki never really wanted to become a ninja in the first place, but after she graduated from the academy, she never thought that she would do a decent job at it. There was a lot of things that Yuki never expected and it brought her life's emotion to a roller coaster. Another thing that Yuki never expected was to meet a man so lonely and hurt that she never would've guessed, she could help him heal without her even noticing.

SIDE NOTE:
My OC character is different from Haku of the Yuki clan, the boy under Zabuza's tutelage. They are in no way related and/or similar to one another.
