The ashes of the Thraagishton Republic have scattered to the wind, those that destroyed it mere legend and even myth. The light of civilization is starting to shine once more and the darkness is beginning to be beaten back. However, for some, the enemies that destroyed the Republic are not myths or legends, they are a constant threat of the night, a fear of what goes bump in the night. Kinish Vishtar is a survivor who has stared that death in the face and lived to tell of it. Having survived the butchering of his previous unit he has now been reassigned to another as a Wayward Guardian of a dead city. However, as the ghosts of the dead watch, he soon finds this city is not as dead as it should be and he soon stumbles upon secrets some would say are best left forgotten.

It will be following a lot of fanon lore that has nothing to do with the original but all characters are owned by the Youtube user, "Tycer". Dux Mortis is a story that follows the character, "Tycer" and his mental problems going hand in hand with a past he cannot escape although he forgets more and more everyday for a mysterious reason. Watch his course through, get worse or better and maybe change as a person. Note from Author: I've been wanting to write this for awhile and I do request users to read the warnings and proceed with caution. Many of the references here won't be explained in a lot of detail so you might have to look into the fandom to understand the book to the fullest.
