Anamaria Sloane suffers from a curse. A curse that she will never be able to love anyone, unless the curse is broken. Unfortunately, she now feels no sort of love for anyone or anything. Everyone she once loved means next to nothing for her. This soon draws the attention of the Weasley brothers, who are curious as to why Anamaria always seems to sit alone and keep to herself rather than talking with the other girls in her year. George is seemingly even more curious than his brother and seeks to bond with the girl, though this seems to be impossible. 
Soon, George finds out why Anamaria is so cold toward everyone around her. Sprout, an old family friend of Anamaria's family, who knew the young witch before her curse, lets George in on the secret of what happened, and though no one knows how to break it, George takes the seemingly impossible task on himself and seeks to break the curse.
