I sunk into the couch as I pulled my knees to my chest. I rested my head against Michaels shoulder.
"I'm just a reject," my voice called out as a single tear left my eye.
"Hey," Michael turned to face me. His eyes locked with mine.
"You're my little reject." His strong arms pulled me into his lap and he buried my head into his chest.
"I love you, Hailey," he tightly wrapped his arms around me, making me feel secure.
