It's the year 2130, 100 years after a world-wide nuclear war caused by the fighting for resources resulting from a cataclysm known as The Split. Few countries have recovered, but a new threat arose from the ashes of the old world. A long dormant form of Orphiocordyceps, known as Ignis Cerebri, or Brain Burn, resurrecting the long and recently deceased and causing them to hunt, eat, or infect the living. Will you survive in this brave new world?

*Prologue* To be entirely honest with you, I never really considered my future. It's not like I needed to...right? Why would you care about jobs and your educational success when you could be scavenging for food, perhaps? I mean what use is your academic future in the apocalypse? Dramatic right?
