Laiden is a boy in 8th grade at Harvey Milk Middle school. His family is highly conservative and Christian, but Laiden doesn't match with their views... He's gay, and openly gay at that. As he goes through his last year of middle school, he questions many things about life while dealing with bullies and discrimination against his race and sexuality.

A slow fall
Caleb was lost and had been for as long as he could remember. He tried to walk the path his parents wanted, but he couldn't see it through the darkness. Denzel Cedrik has never liked people, he finds them to be a waste of his time and effort. All he wants to do is sort records and read.
